Takanori Imai used to work at a major Japanese apparel maker. He was engaged in store development and brand management. In 2015 he started up Mountain Morning together with Fumiko Sakuhara. He is actively involved in various projects like book production (TOOLS vol.3), contents development (MENU EARTH HOTEL), visual design (lifestyle brand LAND NORM) and gallery direction (case study studio BaBaBa). Furthermore, he provides brand direction, event planning and other services for companies and individuals.

Interior Stylist

Fumiko Sakuhara is an interior stylist based in Tokyo. After studying under Michiko Iwatate, a pioneer of interior styling in Japan, she became freelance in 1996.
Fumiko is active at the forefront of her work in a wide variety of tasks such as styling for magazines and TV-advertisings, event displays, window decorations, sceneries for plays and films. With her flexible sensibility, she often combines different tastes together to create an original scene, which has been recognized across the generations.
